First let me say that the lot owners are wonderful people and this review is based on facts not opinions. This place has the worst manager of any campground I have stayed at in 34 states. The manager has no clue as to who comes in the park or even who stays in the park. There is not lighting in the park at night. The upper section has many ports built on owners sites. The lower section if a security nightmare. Boaters just drop in and park and the manager has no clue. I had to call the Sheriff's department due to an event that was caused by the manager's incompetence. Sites are wide once you get in but the interior roads are very narrow and you have to seesaw your rig to get into them. No cable and no amenities at this park. Pretty and quiet park but calling this a resort is like calling Detroit a tropical paradise. Kids run through site and play around parked RVs and the manager did not seem to care. I am sure the owners have all written wonderful reviews in order to get people to buy a lot and there are a bunch for resale. Lock everything if you stay here. The cost should be half for what you get. 15 miles to Wal-Mart and 10 to anything else. We will not come back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Just leaving after a wonderful three months here. The rates for weekly and monthly are very fair, we paid $375 per month with no electric add-ons. Sites are huge, room for four slide outs without coming near your patio which is about 10 x 40 on our site. Sites are terraced as well, perfect satellite reception. Several ponds and just minutes to Guntersville Lake, boat launch about 4 minutes down the road. Convenient to Huntsville as well, we found everything we needed close by, but enjoyed the quiet park. Lots here are owned entirely by people who put their lot in a rental pool. There are many spaces available. Some owners are building very tasteful and spacious port homes here. We would consider buying if we were ready to settle down. We will be back again. Loved it! We camped here in a Motorhome.

The folks at the park were helpful. This is a new park and will someday be top notch. The internet did not work where we were, they need more repeater towers. Other than that it was a repeat. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very fun place but the roads and facilties could use repair. Some of the free sites are not real level and access is somewhat difficult. The large majority of the sites are rented on a permanent basis so reservations are needed on major weekends. No pool but does have a sandy beach area (roped off in water) on Lake Guntersville. Also has boat launch and piers. The permanent "residents" were extremely friendly. We camped here in a camper.

I stayed here as a kid. It is the same as I remember...same playground and same Nature Center. Things have not changed in years. The park does need some updating, but over all it is a nice place and we will be back. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

The campground has a great view of the Tennessee river. If you own a boat, bring it and you'll discover the meaning of, "Sweet Home Alabama". The campground is packed all of the time. The restrooms are cleaned everyday and the staff are nice and helpful. Deer watching is a fun activity at dusk. Be sure to check out the views of the lake while on your way up the mountain to the lodge that overlooks the campground and lake. The restaurant is great! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This was our first time at this campground. THE PROS---Great place for the kids..very nice playground...putt putt, game room etc...nice kept areas...nice friendly folks. THE CONS---the indoor pool was COLD...what is the use in having it indoor if it isn't heated?? The restaurant was only open on selected days. Which was a bummer because they have great ice cream. One of The bathhouses need a place for you to change once you get out of the shower-there are three shower stalls and that is all. At the other one there is a nice changing area and a shower connected. OVER ALL it was a wonderful place..we had a great time. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

This is a beautiful campground on a lake. It is very remote. We particularly liked the back-in sites facing the clubhouse and playground area. Sites are gravel and not level. We camped here in a motorhome under our Coast to Coast membership. Site selection is on a first-come first-serve basis which could be a challenge for big rigs during their busy, peak season. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We were met at the gate by very rude camp host. I arrived on Thursday night. I am a member of Camp Club USA. I was told the weekend started on Thursday night so they wouldn't honor my card. We weren't shown to our sites. Just drove around till we found one. Lots of people living at this campground. Our site was in full sun with no shade. The roads are very dusty. I would not recommend this campground to anyone. People drove around all night in golf carts. Needless to say I want go back. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
