Came back again this year so I wanted to post another review. A great campground which is hidden from view. No website, no big ad's, just a genuine family-owned campground with a pool and lake. Most sites are large with pull-through ability. Owner's have added a Wi-Fi hot-spot at the office which works well. They have placed a table and chairs outside and there is a plug nearby for charging/running your laptop. Owner's run around during week and grass is always mowed, the pool is always clean, the beach is raked weekly and the roads are graded. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We camped here locally to our home to try out our new camper. We had a rough start as we stated that the site MUST be 5th wheel friendly with no low hanging branches. What I got was a large pull-thru with branches hanging over the entry to the site that would have ripped open my roof. After chatting they offered another site that was more roof friendly. Beside that gripe the roads were in good shape, the hookups were good with 30amp power, a 20amp aux. power source, water and sewer. The site was good sized and faced Estes Lake and offered a nice view of the water. The site was wet but the area had abnormal rainfall and it was livable. The playground had one piece of modern equipment which was small but the kids still liked it. The lake was the draw and was clean with a nice beach area. A walk around showed that the campground has a large seasonal population who seemed friendly and had sites that weren't a dump like other places I've stayed. I would recommend them. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
