While the trees in this campground are well trimmed, the trees on the connecting road (Thurston St.) are not. So be prepared to be scratched if there’s any on-coming traffic. This is the best staffed campground we’ve ever seen, including “park rangers” to lead first timers to their site. We used our Good Sam card and a First Timer’s coupon from their web site (look under Rates then Promotions) for discounts. We were told at check-in that they no longer pick up your daily trash bag, so it may be a long walk to one of only three dumpers in this very large campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very Nice Campground. The restrooms and showers were the cleanest we have ever seen. When you actually look forward to your next hot shower that is about the best you ask for. This is one of the most important things you can get right in our opinion. Our site was not the best in the park and seemed to be sort of be a overflow site that was all gravel with no grass on the perimeter of the park with the hookups on the wrong side of the rig for what ever reason. There were many other great sites and after we were set up it really did not bother us. The pools were very nice and there is an indoor pool that made it great with any cold weather. The staff was very friendly and always engaging. The dump station was nicely done all in concrete with gloves and a high pressure hose. We would however like to see more full hookup sites with sewer and cable which were not available for our visit. We will visit this campground again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Normandy Farm Campground is a great resort camping park. The grounds are immaculate and they are always being kept clean by workers. The staff was very friendly and they guide you to your site. There are 4 pools yes, I said 4 pools. They have 3 outdoor pools and one indoor pool with 2 hot tubs, sauna, and work out room. For the adults they have a nice lounge on the second floor of their lodge with big screen TV, books, and board games. In the back of the resort there is a nice large fenced in dog park. Normandy Farms Campground is a good home base for day trips to Plymouth, Quince, Boston, Cape Cod, and (Newport, RI). There is plenty to do for a week stay and you will really enjoy relaxing and doing nothing at the campground because of its beauty. If I could think of anything bad to say it would be the sites are narrow, but the use of shrubs and bushes to separate the sites still give you a good sense of privacy. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Great place for families with kids and pets. Cons; The play ground is huge, but doesn't open until 9AM, The bathhouse at safari 4 does not have showers, kind of pricey. Pros; everything else. The staff is friendly and efficient, grounds and facilities are as clean as can be. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

We love this park. Nothing wrong with it. Hugh playground for kids. Nice big recreation hall with indoor pool for winter. Bathrooms are immaculate. Staff helpful and friendly. My only issue, which will keep us away next year for the April vacation, was the cost. There are no activities and yet the C/G still charges a lot fee plus 5$ a night per kid. So, I paid extra$10 a night per kid with no activities or outdoor pools etc. to entertain them. I think the kid fee should be waived when activities are not available. That is my only concern. It cost me an extra $100 for the 2 kids to only entertain ourselves. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Wow. That's all I can say. I made my reservations 6 mths. ago for this weekend, and was praying it would live up to the hype. That it did, and more. This campground is immaculate - the cleanest I've ever seen. The staff made us feel special - not often that you see that anymore. The landscaping is wonderful, the grounds are wonderful, the amenities are wonderful. We used the indoor pool/jacuzzi/sauna. 2 workers there at any given moment. It was never over crowded, always monitored and clean. Dog park is HUGE. More than I'd expected. We had a large pull through (site 511). Plenty of space, nice large site. Campground was very, very quiet at night (perhaps because it's Oct. and cold, but still we were surprised). Staff is very helpful. I truly can't say enough about this campground other than we will definitely be back. Price is a bit steep, but you get what you pay for, and I can think of no other campground that compares. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Probably the BEST park on the eastern seaboard. Staff during check-in was very helpful and provided so much information about the park and surrounding area. Great dog park - one acre with chipped tree limbs - also has an area to wash your dog. Sites ar well spaced and WiFi is excellent. Would stay her again if in the area. We opted to spend a week at this campground en route to Maine, and based our decision in great part on the glowing reviews others had made about it. It is a very nice campground, but we were a bit surprised by how very many campsites it has, and how close together they are - it felt a bit like a 'small city.' It does seem to have lots to do for kids, with some organized daily activities and three sparkling pools. It also has a nice little fishing pond. Quiet it wasn't, though. The hum of steady traffic from a nearby freeway was audible at night, and one of our neighbors had a strange ritual of chopping wood at 11 p.m. That said, we would stay here again if we're in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds to visit. We have been camping here for several years and always look forward to our visits. We usually try to make it to their Father's Day Weekend and Halloween Weekend. We also try to book at least one week in the summer. There are plenty of activities for everyone in the family, but it is also a perfect place to sit back, relax and do nothing. I have always found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The fellow campers have always been pleasant and if there is an occasional trouble maker, they are dealt with professionally. The sites, bathrooms and grounds are always meticulously maintained. It used to seem a bit pricey to me, but I've visited several campgrounds that charge the same or more and do not offer half of the amenities of this place. I would very highly recommend it. The only draw back is that the popular weekends book a year in advance which is not always easy to plan for. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I don't think I have 1 bad thing to say about this camp ground. The pools are huge and extremely clean. The staff went out of their way to make your stay the best it could be. They even go as far as sending an employee in a golf cart to bring you to your site and assist with backing in if needed. There was a huge dog park that included a wash station for dogs. I needed to leave the park for an event and they were able to provide me with a map and directions to the next town. We can't wait to go back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This park is very nice. Possibly the best I have ever been to. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Site was very nice. If you are visiting the campground for the first time a worker/ranger escorts you to your site. We had a problem in the beginning as we were escorted to the wrong site by the staff. We set everything up including a screen house and the people that actually had the site showed up. We then had to pack everything up which took us a while and move to our real site. We were a bit upset. The staff member was very apologetic, accepted responsibility, offered to help me pack up and set back up. The matter was resolved very professionally and we were satisfied. A lot of sites do have the same exact number but in a different named area (like "safari") and that is where the confusion originated. Just make sure you are in the right named area before setting up. Anyway there was lots to do here and the pools are very nice. Our site was great and everyone was very friendly. overall a great experience and we will definitely be returning. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Normandy Farms based mainly on reviews on this site. We were not disappointed. The campground is lovely and very family friendly. Every single person on the staff that we spoke to was extremely nice and working very hard to make your stay pleasant. There were also many activities for our kids (ages 7 and 10). My only complaint - and the reason that I didn't give them a 10 - is that some of the sites were very crowded over the weekend. We stayed the first few days during the week and it was lovely. When we left on Saturday, the park had filled up with many groups of tent campers who parked in the road making exit in our big rig difficult. Once the staff noticed the difficulty we were having they spoke to the campers and asked them to move their cars. Overall, this is a fabulous campground - clean, neat, and well maintained. At the same time, it is full of trees and shade. This is just what a family campground should be....we will be staying here again when we return. Oh, and the wifi worked well the entire time we were there. And, it was free. That's unusual. We camped here in a Motorhome.

What can I say other than Normandy Farms is among the best of the best. The showers & toilets are immaculate and equal to Disney. The pull thru sites are large and easily accessible, and the store is well stocked. Three nice outdoor pools and a heated indoor pool with a jacuzzi and sauna provide relief after a long day site seeing. It is easily accessible from all areas and central to a lot of places to visit, yet back in the woods, peaceful quiet. A note about the back in sites...they did to seem kind of crowded together. I would opt for a pull thru for anything other than a pop up. The only minor "shortfalls" I could manage to comment on are that the tables have really short legs, and thus are really low to the ground, making them uncomfortable...and there was no cable TV. We are staying for two weeks. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

WE GO TO NORMANDY FARMS ATLEAST 2 TIMES A YEAR. THE STORE/OFFICE IS LARGE AND WELL STOCKED. THE STAFF IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND THEY ARE ALWAYS DOING SOMETHING ON THE GROUNDS. THE SITES ARE ALITTLE SMALL FOR THE PRICE BUT IF YOU'VE BEEN THERE YOU KNOW HARD TO GET.I WOULD LOVE TO SEE LARGER SITES OR CHARGE BY THE SITE.THEY HAVE 3 OUTDORR AND 1 INDOOR POOL THAT ARE ALWAYS WELL KEPT. Wherever we go camping, we always compare campgrounds to Normandy. We highly recommend anyone who loves camping to come here. We have been to campgrounds that call themselves "resort" but are not. This one truly is. We have camped here on fall weekends, Thanksgiving weekend (cold in a pop-up, but they had excellent activities!), and April school vacation week. We have not had a bad vacation yet. The facilities are spotless, there are activities to do year round, the recreation lodge is amazingly beautiful, the bathrooms and laundry facilities, which are sprinkled throughout the campground, are beautiful and feature granite counter tops. They have a great ball field, a new dog park (we don't have pets but it's a great place if you do), basketball courts, shuffleboard, disc golf course, etc. You name it, they have it. And if they don't have it, they'll get it for you! We can't recommend Normandy Farms enough! The only bad part is it books fast! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park. We stayed here for a month. They were unable to give us 50A or cable. The office staff was unfriendly and actually made our visitors leave a credit card and driver's license as security even though it was a weekday and off season. As nice as the amenities are, we would hesitate staying here again simply because of the terrible treatment of our guests. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Really just a great full-service campground. We camped here the first weekend in November during the remnants of Hurricane Noel, and we still enjoyed ourselves. Sites do vary, with some older ones not being very wide for slideouts, but newer sites are huge. Bathrooms are some of the best I've ever seen, spotlessly clean and well laid out. Only gripes (and they're fairly small) is a city garbage truck came by at 7:30am on Saturday -very loud and disruptive and the pancake breakfast served very undercooked sausages. Overall highly recommended, especially the adult reading/tv loft and the lovely indoor pool and jacuzzi's. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

This is a very nice campground but expensive. There is a $10 charge for guests, the laundry is $3.00 each. The grounds are very well maintained. The staff are exceptional. I really can't find anything negative about this place. We would probably not stay here again because of the rates, however, there isn't much else in this area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Lovely well kept campground. Not inexpensive but there is wireless all over. Indoor Pool, jacuzzi, sauna, exercise equipment and a nice lady to give concierge advice on touring in the area. We have always heard this was the best campground in the Northeast, and finally had chance to try it out this July. The park is huge, and well maintained. We were in the Safari area, and I felt that the $72/night price tag was a bit steep for W/E in a field. The pools were nice, but were a good walk from our site. Activities were plentiful and there is a nice trail to hike. The bath house near us lacked showers, but we used the one in our trailer. We would visit again, as long as it's not in the Safari area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

One of the best campgrounds in the country. Lots of great activities for kids, beautiful indoor pool and courteous staff. Our only wish is that they had more 50 amp sites. It seems that this popular RV desination is always booked up way in advance, and we need to settle for a 30 amp site without cable tv. We will return again when we are in the area. We stayed in this lovely campground in a 45' Motorhome with plenty of space and elbow room. Cable did not work, but Wi-Fi was free and outstanding. A great family park; albeit we prefer campgrounds with less kids, we did not mind at all. This is truly a GREAT campground with tons of activities and amenities. Our motorhome has bathrooms and a washer and dryer, but I visited both and they were top notch. I would highly recommend this campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This campground should be a model for all others. Upon arrival at 9pm we were escorted to our site and assisted in backing it in. There was excellent security and someone even walked around at quiet hour to make sure everyone was keeping the volume reasonable. The playground was huge and fenced in which made it easier to keep track of the kids. The indoor pool was clean, the perfect temperature and properly chlorinated with beautiful decor. They had candy bar bingo and had mardi gras beads for everyone at the end. They had movies in the evening, scavenger hunts and many other activities. The sites were very level and roomy. You could hardly tell which sites were seasonals because they were all tastefully maintained. I asked a campground employee about the seasonals and they explained that they require all seasonals to move sites throughout the season. The laundry and bathrooms were clean, clean, clean! Everything was well run and beautifully maintained. Checkout was 2pm, which gave us an opportunity to eat lunch before taking off. This is a great campground and we can't wait to revisit. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for the kids school vacation. This trip began on Friday the 13th and the ole myth rang true. A real Nor-easter moved through the area bringing with it 4 days of pounding rain. The indoor pool and hugh rec hall were a plus for the kids. We played games in the rec hall and were able to get out of the camper for a bit. The weather had nothing to do with the campground. The only thing I wished had happened is the campground would have offered a safe place/shelter. The wind blew at 60 mph gusts rocking the campers. Limbs down. Not a safe or comfortable sleep. I think the C/G should have offered the rec hall as a shelter to those with children. Sleeping bags on the floor and a movie would of put a lot at ease. I will email this to the C/G. Other than that...excellent stay. We'll to back. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

If you have never been to a camping resort, this one comes with a warning. Do not go to NFCG as you will be spoiled and disappointed when you visit other resort campgrounds. This is one of the nicest (if not the nicest) campground in New England. Actually as I type this, I'm wondering why I'm doing so. It will just encourage more of you to visit and this is already a tough place to get into. I'm one of those folks that stand outside every year in the cold on March 15 to get reservations/sites that I want for the following year. That's right, I stand in line in the cold dark, pre-dawn New England winter on March 15, 2007 to make reservations for the 2008 camping season. If this park had a large pond for boating and fishing or was on the ocean it would be utopia. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed for 2 nights in september, showers & bathrooms spotless, cg impeccable! were disappointed to find no grass on our site(12) just fine crushed rock which ended up everywhere! found indoor pool to small & too shallow - we could not use outdoor pools due to them being closed" it might rain & not enough interest by guests" were told by management. also unruly teens used our site as a cut-through to get to playground after dark. otherwise a very good campground we will go again. One of the best CG we've ever stayed. They have some nice features the other CG don't have: very nice high water pressure in the shower room and water supply to RV, 2PM check out, automatic gated CG, great speed Free Wi-Fi. There were some problem on the Wi-Fi on the first day we stay there, they fixed the problem next day, everything else were great. We camped here in a Motorhome.

My comments start with saying this is a beautiful campground. I would give it a 10 if all the camp roads were paved and there were a little less pool rules. I don't think a foam ball in the pool has drowned anyone yet but its banned. Tough for teens to have any fun in all the pools. We also felt that there were different rules for those that camp there a lot and people like my family that camps there every couple years. Small things because its a great place to camp. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Awesome campground for everyone. Well worth the extra money. Extremely well kept grounds. Some sites may be a bit on the small size, but very comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly. Many amenities and activities for all ages any day of the week (not just weekends like many places). Can't wait to go back and stay longer. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Wow! This was the Hilton of campgrounds! We were on a 12 day trip from Michigan to the East Coast & back and this was by far the nicest place we stayed. They have 4 pools (one was indoor). A huge rec room with a kids area and adult area. Many planned activities for the kids. Baseball games, soccer games, disk golf, fishing, and a playground. (Just to name some!) They have a concierge to help you with your travel plans. They have two computers with internet access that are free to use. We were escorted to our site by a ranger who immediately stated the rules about quiet time and how they were enforced. When that time arrived - it was quiet - hard to believe with 400 sites! They have a staff of 125 employees and the campground shows it. Bathrooms are modern with all the latest in automatic fixtures. There were so many men & boys cutting the grass that I lost count. Someone was re-staining a fence that was starting to show just a tiny bit of wear. They are on top of things!!! The office area had about 10 people working in it with about 5 people just taking reservations and checking in campers. We heard they received the Campground of the Year award in 2005 and we can see why!!! We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

Camping at this resort is nothing less than SUPER! Staff are helpful and friendly --- we arrived late one weekend and the ranger not only escorted us to the site in the pouring rain & darkness, he proceeded to help DH back up & level up! That is service! Of all the times we love Mother's & Father's Day weekends best. Always loads to do, the game room is fun, the computer/business office is nice, the store has saved us many a times, loved watching disk golf, sites can be small but when you reserve, they need all your info --- slides, length, etc. The book up fast...they are now taking 2008 (yes, 8) reservations and will sell out holiday weekends then. There is a good reason why they need to be sure you sign the waiver at the pool, trust me. The weight room, WiFi and campers kitchen just add to nearly perfect weekends. Quiet hour, really is quiet hour. This place is a perfect destination, don't use it to spend day triping from, you won't get your $$ worth. Lastly, don't miss the Wrentham Outlets on your out of town. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Best maintained cg we have found in the area, with new facilities in almost all sections of the grounds. Most pull-through sites are roomy enough, well-shaded, although somewhat open. Some other previews note that Boston is two hours away in traffic, but Normandy Farms is the closest campground to the city, and any other cg would be a longer drive. The sites are a bit pricey, but real estate in the area is outrageously priced (and correspondingly taxed), and the campground maintains a large active staff, mostly the same family, by the way. We live only a few miles away, and use the Farms quite often for one or two-day getaways. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was our first camping trip in our travel trailer. We went up for the weekend. This campground offers a lot of extras. There are several outdoor pools and one indoor pool. They had a family dance and dinner. There is an adult area where you can sit by the gas fireplace and read or watch TV. It was off-season when we visited this campground. The sites are clean however, not as large as I would like and not very private. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

If your looking for a place to park your RV and yourself for a week, then this is the place. If your the type that uses the campground as a homebase, then keep looking. Despite the hype you will read, Nomandy Farms is an hour and a half to ANYWHERES you might want to see. Two hours to Boston with the traffic, two hours to the beach, 1 1/2 hours to Salem or Plymouth. 40 minutes to a decent restaurant and the list goes on. And for $60.00 a night, I would expect cable TV hookup (Do not provide) and site pickup for your garbabe (Required that each camper haul their own garbage to a dumpster, which are few and far between). After a few hours wandering around, it became quite apparent why they must charge $60.00 per night; they have twice as much help as they need. They have a guy at the guard shack that does nothing but tell newly registered campers to pull up to the stop sign and wait for another employee who arrives on a cart to escourt you to your site. That conversation could of been had in the registration building. And this guy cannot even be bothered to open the gate for you as you arrive or depart the facility. You must lean out of your rig to wave a magetic tag at a sensore to get the gate to open. Really stupid considering the guy is stading right there. Jeesh. They also have an employee at the pool to make sure you sign a waiver, of which you already signed when you registered. They have two guys that ride the same cart every morning looking at empty sites and checking off on their maps. Like another poster said, the site sizes are from tiny to huge. We had a good sized site, but others were cramped in. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very well run campground with superior facilities. With this in mind, it was the most expensive campground and the smallest site I have stayed in from Maine to the Florida Keys. We had the choice between extending our slide or deploying the awning, but not both. When I made a reservation over one month in advance there were only three sites available. Most of the other sites are nicely sized. My complaint is not directed toward the facilities or employees working there, but directed at the pricing policy. A site that small should not be priced the same as one three times larger. If you stay there, be sure to ask about the size of the site. It was my experience that they won't tell you if you don't ask. I probably would have gone to another campground if I had known. I would definitely stay there again if I were guaranteed a normal site. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This was the first RV park we stayed at. Spent the winter months from December '04 to April '05. We'd visited the website and researched the park heavily before we signed up for the winter full-time camping and we were not disappointed with what we found on arrival. We paid $605/mo which worked out to be $21/night for a full hook-up site with 30A for long-term winter camping, which I hear they no longer offer. Electricity was billed on a monthly basis. They had us come down to meet with the campground owner who went over some winter camping basics and survival tips with us. Very informative meeting and gave us some very good tips and need-do items. Plowing was prompt and cost $10. 00 per storm. They installed a 300lb propane tank and made all the connections to our rig for us (for a fee). The rec hall & pool were open year round. It was very nice to sit in a hot tub when the weather outside was -10F. Very friendly staff and store stocked with enough basics to work in a pinch. Not as well stocked as it is for their high season. Friendly helpful staff that was always there when we needed them. WiFi in the park was good, about the best speed of any of the parks with WiFi we've been to yet. On the flipside the sites are a bit narrow. Most of the pull-through sites have little or no shade. I would have preferred a bit more space and privacy between us and our neighbors to either side. Very high cost during the high season!!! One of the most expensive parks I've seen, Disney's Fort Wilderness not withstanding. Cost is only objection, if cost was less would not hesitate to stay again if in area. Highly recommended based on facilities, helpfulness & friendliness of staff, and on facilities. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Camped here in July of 04, and again in Sept of 04. We found the campground to be in great shape, the facilties were super and the people very nice. The security of the grounds were the best we have seen, you use a card to enter the grounds. The only improvements needed would be more fifty Amp sites. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We were there over Easter weekend and there were a lot of families here. They had Easter
events for the kids. They have an adult lounge, 3 outdoor pools and an indoor pool with a sauna, 2 spas and a fitness room. The staff is very friendly. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We are tenters family of 4, normandy farms is on the expensive side especially when you
are in a tent. The campground was on of the cleanest we have ever been to, and the people who worked there were very friendly. They have a total of 4 pools
that includes an indoor pool with jacuzzi, also one of their outside pools are heated with an outside jacuzzi. I don't mind paying the extra $$$ because I
feel they put back the $$$ into Normandy Farms. This was a real treat and can't wait to go back. We camped here in a Tent.

This campground is very over-rated! Yes, it is clean and has a beautiful new rec hall and indoor pool area (which opens late and closes early) but you pay dearly for it! There is little to no privacy since they cut down all the trees and shrubs and they nickle & dime ya to death with extra fees. Not worth paying more than at Disneyworld! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We have been many times and always had an excellent time. Clean restrooms! Super friendly staff, they really go out of there way for you. Tons of activities for the whole family. 3 outdoor pools and 1 inside Pool (shallow 3-4ft great for kids) 3 hot tubs and a sauna. The activity lodge is beautiful. This is a camping resort for a wonderful family vaction! More money than most campgrounds nearby, but certainly worth every
penny! We camped here in a camper.

A family resort with tons of activities, 3 pools. 30 Miles to Boston, close to Cape Cod. Room for big rigs. Expensive in Summer Season. Rules are enforced, don't worry about loud parties next door. Off-season rates go way down. Wooded, shade. We camped here in a camper.
