This was our first time to this campground. The nightly rate listed above was their off season rate. It was very empty which made our stay even more enjoyable. They have very good security. The bathhouses were clean but you have to pay 25 cents for a 7 minute shower so don't forget your quarters. They have a nice store there where you can buy the things you forgot and ACME is right down the road if you need something they don't have. The owners and employees were VERY friendly in person and also on the telephone. The pools were great! I would definitely camp here again!!! We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

This campground is nice and very clean, but doesn't really stand out. It's kind of like vanilla ice cream. Not as much for the kids to do and the walk from the site to the camp store is a hike. One funny note, one of the carved wooden signs pointing out the way to the bath house, actually reads "BATHOUSE". The owners were very nice also. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
To call this facility a "camping" resort is something of a misnomer. It really is more of a seasonal trailer park with some spots for campers. We camped here before the start of their season so we had our choice of sites. Even so, there were not many to choose from. The resort does seem to have some amenities that make it a favorable destination, 2 pools, game room, general store, easy access to Jersey shore and off site stores. It is obvious that the main focus of this place is seasonal trailers that are not "mobile." There was even a fifth-wheel trailer across from our site that had been made permanent. Nonetheless, the staff was friendly and very helpful, especially to our family who were first time trailer campers. We would consider coming back here again if a site were available. We understand that their transient sites are difficult to come by during peak season. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We were seasonal campers at Hidden Acres for years and before we became seasonal - we camped there in a pop-up for years. In the past 2 years - it has gone downhill. The new owner did not take pride in the campground like the original owners. Homeless people were given run down campers to live in all summer and the sites were dirty and full of junk. There was a rule in the contract that your site must be kept neat and orderly and your camper must look the same. I never saw so many campers with blue tarps over them and junk all over the site. Sometimes, the grass in the playground would be as tall as my knee - which became tick city! The recycling bins were filled for a whole weekend, with cans on the ground. The store is never stocked, you have to get in your car and go to WaWa or Acme just for a container of milk or eggs. And honestly - some of the seasonals there became out of control. Quiet hours start at 11. People stay up past that, which is fine, but these people would be loud, yelling. Their kids would be roaming all over the place. And the underage drinking, law suit waiting to happen! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Camped here four days inJune 04. Nice shaded sites, we were given a pull thru spot even
though we had a popup. Staff were friendly, grounds were clean, and the lake was beautiful. The bathrooms and the shower area were in need of a good cleaning
and/or upgrade. There was a security gate but two nights we were disturbed by teens late in the evening on bikes.(3A.M.)We will probably not return as there
are many other campgrounds in the area. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
